This wall relief is a hallmark of the dedication found at Sunflower Arts and Crafts. Unlike mass-produced items, this piece is a result of intense, unique hard work where artisans spend days perfecting the intricate details of the forest scene. The carving captures a tender moment between two elephants, set against a backdrop of towering bamboo, symbolizing family, strength, and the serenity of the wild.

Exquisite Detail & Depth

What sets this piece apart is the precision of the carving:

• Intricate Textures: Notice the fine lines etched into the elephants’ trunks and the delicate veining on the overhead foliage.

• Artistic Perspective: The carvers use varied depths to pull the viewer into the scene, making the bamboo forest feel expansive and alive.

• Unique Heritage: A perfect representation of Sri Lankan woodcarving traditions, curated specifically for the BISO collection.

5. Care Instructions for High-End Carvings

• Dusting: Use a soft-bristled brush (like a clean paintbrush) to gently remove dust from the deep crevices of the carving.

• Environment: Keep in a stable environment away from extreme humidity or direct sunlight to protect the integrity of the wood and the subtle stains.
