A Tiny, Modern Elephant Silhouette

This 3-inch wooden biscuit elephant is carved as a flat, freestanding elephant silhouette — like a biscuit cut from a single piece of timber. Its smooth edges and minimal form let the natural grain of the mahogany take centre stage, creating a clean, modern ornament with a warm handmade feel.

At just 3 inches high, it’s the smallest in our biscuit elephant range — ideal for a desk, windowsill or bookshelf, or as the “baby” in a family of 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch elephants.

The Elephant as a Symbol of Luck

Elephants hold a special place in Sri Lankan culture as symbols of wisdom, strength and loyalty, and in many homes around the world they are seen as bringers of good fortune. A wooden elephant is a small gift with a big meaning.

Hand-Carved from Mahogany in Sri Lanka

Each biscuit elephant is cut and smoothed by hand from solid mahogany by Sri Lankan artisans. Because it is made from natural timber, the grain pattern and colour of every piece are unique.

Approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) high. Also available in 4, 5 and 6 inch sizes — mix them to build your own elephant parade.
