Warm, Light and Full of Character

This honey-brown wooden elephant statue has a bright, golden finish that lets the natural grain of the mahogany glow. Lighter in tone than our darker carvings, it adds warmth to Scandinavian, coastal, boho and natural-style interiors.

Hand-carved in Sri Lanka, it captures the elephant’s sturdy body, broad ears and calm, gentle nature in a compact size that is easy to place anywhere in the home.

A Symbol of Luck and Wisdom

In Sri Lanka, elephants are deeply respected — they lead temple processions, feature in traditional art and are admired for their intelligence, loyalty and strength.

An elephant figure is also widely believed to bring good fortune and protection to a home, which makes it one of the most popular handmade gifts we offer.

Hand-Carved from Solid Mahogany

Each statue is carved by hand from solid mahogany by Sri Lankan artisans, then hand-finished in a yellowish honey-brown tone.

Because the finish works with the natural colour of the timber, the grain pattern and depth of colour differ on every piece — each elephant is truly one of a kind.

Size and Where to Display It

Standing approximately 18 cm high (7 inches), it suits a bookshelf, desk, bedside table, windowsill, kitchen shelf or nursery.

A charming Christmas, birthday, new-job or thank-you gift — and a lovely starting point for an elephant collection.

Care Instructions

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Avoid water, chemical cleaners, prolonged direct sunlight and placement next to heaters or air-conditioning vents.

For indoor display only.
